The Can-Am/ Brp DS 450 EFI X was a single-cylinder, DOHC 4-valve, liquid-cooled ATV produced by Can-Am/ Brp in 2008.

A 96.5mm bore x 96.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.3 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 21 x 7R-10 front tire and a 20 x 10R-9 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 182 mm discs with inverted twin-piston calipers in the front and a 198 mm rotor with single piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a R-Type forged aluminum, Double A-arm/Kayaba ‡ HPG aluminum piggyback with adjustment for compression, rebound and spring preload while the rear was equipped with a R-Type forged aluminum, Double A-arm/Kayaba ‡ HPG aluminum piggyback with adjustment for compression, rebound and spring preload. The DS 450 EFI X was fitted with a 0.79 Gallon (3.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 49.88 inches (1267 mm) long.
2008 Can-Am/ Brp DS 450 EFI X[edit | edit source]
There is more to the 2007 Can-Am DS 450 EFI X than the upgraded looks: revised ergonomics, racing-specced Kayaba suspensions, cast aluminum wheels with a beadlock system for increased safety regardless of how hard would one ride on unwelcoming terrain.
Sturdy aluminum skid plates shield both the underbelly and swingarm, while handlebar deflectors, nerf bars, bumpers, aluminum taper-profile handlebars and the adjustable clutch are all standard for the 2007 Can-Am DS 450 EFI X. The final touch is given by the X-themed graphics package which makes everything look great.
