It came with a Carlisle Badland 26 x 8 x 12 in front tire and a Carlisle Badland 26 x 10 x 12 in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 214 mm discs, 2-piston calipers, hydraulic in the front and a 214 mm discs, 2-piston calipers, hydraulic in the rear. The front suspension was a double A-arm while the rear was equipped with a Torsional Trailing Arm (TTI). The wheelbase was 50.98 inches (1295 mm) long.

2015 Can-Am/ Brp Outlander 850 DPSEdit

 

The 2015 MY Can-Am Outlander 850 DPS has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 854cc, Rotax V-twin powerhouse mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can produce 78 horsepower. As all its DPS-suffixed siblings, it comes standard with a tri-mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS), which takes the strain off the rider, and makes for a much more agile machine.

It features a double A-arm front suspension, and a Torsional Trailing arm Independent (TTI) rear suspension, which allow it to tackle the most ruthless off-road trails, whether on the work site or just on a weekend stroll. In addition, 12" cast aluminum wheels with heavy-duty Carlisle Badland tires mounted on them make sure the rider arrives to the destination, no matter the terrain.
