The Can-Am/ Brp Outlander L 450 DPS was a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder ATV produced by Can-Am/ Brp in 2015.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a CVT, P / R / N / H / L transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a Carlisle Trail Wolf 25 x 8 x 12 in front tire and a Carlisle Trail Wolf 25 x 10 x 12 in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 214 mm ventilated disc brakes with hydraulic twin-piston calipers in the front and a single 214 mm ventilated disc brake with hydraulic twin-piston calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a double A-arm while the rear was equipped with a Torsional Trailing arm Independent (TTI). The wheelbase was 50.98 inches (1295 mm) long.
2015 Can-Am/ Brp Outlander L 450 DPS[edit | edit source]
The 2015 MY Can-Am Outlander L 450 DPS has, at its heart, a 38 horsepower, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 427cc, single cylinder engine paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It features a high-end suspension package, composed of a double A-arm front unit and a Torsional Trailing arm Independent (TTI) rear suspension, which, in combination with the Surrounding Spar Technology (SST) G2 frame, ensures it can take head on even the toughest off-road tracks.
Also, standard technologies and features such as the tri-mode Dynamic Power Steering, the 12" cast-aluminum wheels with 25" tires mounted on them, as well as a Visco-Lok QE auto-locking front differential increase its desirability among Can-Am fans and not only.
