It came with a Carlisle Trail Wolf 25 x 8 x 12 in front tire and a Carlisle Trail Wolf 25 x 10 x 12 in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 214 mm ventilated disc brakes with hydraulic twin-piston calipers in the front and a single 214 mm ventilated disc brake with hydraulic twin-piston calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a double A-arm while the rear was equipped with a Torsional Trailing arm Independent (TTI). The wheelbase was 50.98 inches (1295 mm) long.

For riders who want a gritty ATV, with an affordable price tag and the added comfort of power steering, the 2015 MY Can-Am Outlander L 570 DPS may be a suitable choice. It sports a 48 horsepower, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 570cc, V-twin powerhouse mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). In addition, it features a selectable 2WD / 4WD drive train with a state-of-the-art Visco-Lok QE auto-locking front differential, which does not have a speed or rev limiter, ensuring it can overcome oven the most difficult obstacles and terrains.
Unlike the base model, the DPS-suffixed Outlander comes standard with a tri-mode Dynamic Power Steering, and lightweight 12" cast-aluminum wheels with 25" tires mounted on them. Also, it offers a choice between a Can-Am Yellow, Green or Mossy Oak Break-up Country Camo paint schemes.
