It came with a Carlisle Trail Wolf 25 x 8 x 12 in front tire and a Carlisle Trail Wolf 25 x 10 x 12 in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 214 mm ventilated disc brakes with hydraulic twin-piston calipers in the front and a single 214 mm ventilated disc brake with hydraulic twin-piston calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a double A-arm while the rear was equipped with a Torsional Trailing arm Independent (TTI). The wheelbase was 50.98 inches (1295 mm) long.

The 2015 MY Can-Am Outlander L 570 MAX sports a 48 horsepower, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 570cc, V-twin powerhouse mated to a continuously variable transmission. Also, its drive train allows the rider to select between 2WD and 4WD and comes with a state-of-the-art Visco-Lok auto-locking front differential, which does not have a speed limiter, ensuring the right amount of power being delivered in any given situation.

In addition, it comes standard with a convertible one-up/two-up seat, with pillion backrest, as well as a steel rack with LinQ quick-attach accessory system, a multi-function digital gauge, a large, 5.4 gallon fuel tank and a Torsional Trailing arm Independent (TTI) rear suspension unit.
