The 2009 Can-Am Outlander MAX 400 EFI XT adds more functionality and better looks to the base 400cc ATV model, while retaining all the brawn and nimble character which have made so many riders love this middleweight machine.

The XT package brings in a powerful winch with a wired remote control easy to stow in the dedicated front compartment, sturdy steel front and rear bumpers. The ATV now rolls on lightweight cast aluminum wheels shod with Carlisle tires and comes with handlebar wind protectors.

This quad offers the same operation versatility like the base model: selectable 2/4WD, auto-locking front differential, engine brake and an easy-to-use automatic transmission.

The 2010 Can-Am Outlander MAX 400 XT is the beefed-up version of the base two-up model. It brings some extra equipment, such as the powerful winch, cast aluminum wheels and heavy-duty bumpers (front and rear) and had protectors for the rider. The comfy passenger seat can be easily converted for solo riding, or when a more ample luggage space is needed, and this makes the 2010 Can-Am Outlander MAX 400 XT even more versatile.

Operating it is easy as pie with the dual-range automatic transmission, while selectable 2/4WD and auto-locking front differential are a great match for the long-travel, independent suspensions and generous ground clearance.

The 400 is the smallest member of the Can-Am Outlander MAX XT series, but this does not mean it is a compromise-ridden machine. This ATV comes with hand protectors for the rider and an ergonomic padded backrest and multi-position hand guards for the passenger, with a convertible passenger seat system, allowing more luggage to be secured on the rear rack, or even a cargo box, for solo rides.

A powerful WARN winch is also standard, to help you get out of tight situations, just like the selectable 2/4WD, dual gearbox ratio and auto-locking front differential. The 2011 Can-Am Outlander MAX 400 XT is a great choice for those in search of a no-frills two-up all-terrain vehicle which can be easily turned into a workhorse, when needed.

2013 Can-Am/ Brp Outlander MAX 400 XT

The 2012 Can-Am Outlander MAX 400 XT is the smallest member of this series, but this does not mean it is a compromise-ridden machine. This ATV comes with hand protectors for the rider and an ergonomic padded backrest and multi-position hand guards for the passenger. Just like other top-notch Can-Ams, the 2012 Can-Am Outlander MAX 400 XT has a convertible passenger seat system, allowing more luggage to be secured on the rear rack, or even a cargo box.

A powerful WARN winch is also standard, to help you get out of tight situations, just like the selectable 2/4WD, dual gearbox ratio and auto-locking front differential. The front rack can haul up to 45 kg, so the 2012 Can-Am Outlander MAX 400 XT can be also used for various work-related outdoor tasks.
