The Can-Am Outlander 1000 X MR was a v2, four-stroke standard produced by Can-Am between 2012 and 2014.

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 91.0mm bore x 75.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 976.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
