The DKW RT200S was a single cylinder, two-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 1951 and 1958. It could reach a top speed of 61 mph (98 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 10.73 HP (8.0 KW) @ 5000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 68.0mm bore x 58.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 197.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 6.3:1 compression ratio.

Drive

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.

Chassis

It came with a 3-18 front tire and a 3-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equiped with a swingarm. The RT200S was fitted with a 3.43 Gallon (13.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 288.81 pounds (131.0 Kg).
