Dafra Motos was founded in 2008 by the Itavema Group, the largest group of car dealers in Latin America. It's main production facility is located in the Industrial Pole of Manaus (AM), and boasts an annual production of 200.000 units. It mainly addresses the South-American market, with small-bore, accessible motorcycles, with displacements between 100 and 400 cc, plus a 50cc class moped. Although it may be considered a rather young motorcycle manufacturer, Dafra Motos has grown quickly in Brazil, being the fourth most sold motorcycle brand in the South-American country, after the Japanese big three, Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki.
