The Ducati 1000 S 2 was a v2, four-stroke standard produced by Ducati between 1984 and 1986. It could reach a top speed of 137 mph (220 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 74.43 HP (55.5 KW) @ 6700 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 88.0mm bore x 80.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 973.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 100/90-18 front tire and a 130/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The 1000 S 2 was fitted with a 4.76 Gallon (18.00 Liters) fuel tank.
