The Ducati 1098R Puma Limited Edition was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin, DOHC, desmodromic 4 valves per cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Ducati in 2009. Max torque was 98.84 ft/lbs (134.0 Nm) @ 7750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 179.97 HP (134.2 KW) @ 9750 RPM.

A 106.7mm bore x 106.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1198.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a straight cut gears transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, multiplate, hydraulic.

Chassis
