The "S"-suffixed version of the Ducati 1098 has received upgrades both in terms of performance and maneuverability, as well as in the visual department. Unlike its sibling, it has a red finish on its rear frame, red-pinstriping on its blacked-out wheels and blacked-out exhaust mufflers. In addition, its suspension package has been upgraded to an Ohlins one with a TiN-coated, 43mm fully-adjustable upside-down fork and an Ohlins TTXR rear monoshock, an Ohlins steering damper, forged-aluminium Marchessini rims and it tips the scale at just 173 kg (381 lbs).
