The Ducati 1200 V4 Apollo was a Air-cooled, four-stroke, V4 cylinder Cruiser motorcycle produced by Ducati in 1965. Claimed horsepower was 100.04 HP (74.6 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

A 83.8mm bore x 83.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1252.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 5-Speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi discs.

Chassis

It came with a 5.00 -16 front tire and a 5.00 -16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Dual shock absorbers.

The 1964 Ducati 1200 V4 Apollo had, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 1252cc, V4 powerhouse paired to a five-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and could reach a maximum power output of 100 horsepower at 7000 rpm. Also, this machine was created only for the American market to compete with the most powerful Harley Davidson's available on the market at the time. Standard features included laced wheels with whitewall tires mounted on them, a telescopic front fork coupled to dual rear shock absorbers, a dual exhaust system, ape-hanger handlebars, a dual seat and analogue instrumentation dials.
