The Ducati 125 Scrambler was a single cylinder, four-stroke Classic motorcycle produced by Ducati between 1963 and 1973. It could reach a top speed of 56 mph (90 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 9.25 HP (6.9 KW) @ 8500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 55.2mm bore x 52.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.50-19 front tire and a 3.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a plunger shocks. The 125 Scrambler was fitted with a 2.11 Gallon (8.00 Liters) fuel tank.
1963 Ducati 125 Scrambler[edit | edit source]
The 1962 Ducati 125 Scrambler is a classic dirt bike, suitable for the younger and less experienced among riders. It had features such as a dual seat, dual plunger rear shocks, a telescopic front fork, laced wheels with off-road tires mounted on them, wide handlebars, a small headlight, a drum braking system and a steel frame.
In the engine department it came equipped with an air-cooled, four-stroke, 125cc, single cylinder powerhouse mated to a four-speed manual transmission and could reach a maximum power output of 10 horsepower at 7000 rpm.
1971 Ducati 125 Scrambler[edit | edit source]
The 1970 Ducati 125 Scrambler sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 125cc, single cylinder powerplant paired to a four-speed manual transmission. Standard features include a Marzocchi telescopic front fork coupled to dual shocks in the rear, drum brakes, laced wheels,a dual seat, wide handlebars, a small, round headlight, analogue instrumentation dials and a blacked-out, steel frame.
