The Ducati 160 Monza Junior was a single cylinder, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 1964 and 1967. It could reach a top speed of 71 mph (115 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 12.74 HP (9.5 KW) @ 6000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 61.0mm bore x 52.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 156.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 8.2:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.75-16 front tire and a 3.25-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equiped with a pivoted trolled by spring hydraulic adjustment. The 160 Monza Junior was fitted with a 3.43 Gallon (13.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 266.76 pounds (121.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.98 inches (1295 mm) long.
