The Ducati 450 Mark 3 was a single cylinder, four-stroke Classic motorcycle produced by Ducati between 1968 and 1974. It could reach a top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 26.42 HP (19.7 KW) @ 7000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 86.0mm bore x 75.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 435.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.00-19 front tire and a 3.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks. The 450 Mark 3 was fitted with a 3.43 Gallon (13.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 297.62 pounds (135.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 53.54 inches (1360 mm) long.
1969 - 1972 Ducati 450 Mark 3[edit | edit source]
The 1969 Ducati 450 Mark 3 has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 436cc, single cylinder powerhouse, mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Also, it comes with features such as a hydraulic telescopic front fork, dual shock absorbers in the rear, laced wheels, a chromed exhaust system, a dual seat, a small, round headlight, analogue instrumentation dials, wide handlebars, a steel frame, front and rear drum brakes and a small front fender.
