The Ducati 48 was a 4 stroke, pullrod single cylinder, air cooled Classic motorcycle produced by Ducati in 1952. Claimed horsepower was 1.48 HP (1.1 KW) @ 5500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 38.1mm bore x 38.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 48.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 3-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 1.75x24 front tire and a 1.75x24 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Coils while the rear was equipped with a Rigid, spring loaded saddle.
