The Ducati 500 GTL was a twin, four-stroke standard produced by Ducati between 1975 and 1976. It could reach a top speed of 101 mph (162 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 34.2 HP (25.5 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 78.0mm bore x 52.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 497.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 3.25-18 front tire and a 3.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The 500 GTL was fitted with a 5.02 Gallon (19.00 Liters) fuel tank.
