The Ducati 500 Twin was a air-cooled, four-stroke, parallel twin cylinder, SOHC, 2 valves per cylinder Classic motorcycle produced by Ducati in 1977.
Engine[edit | edit source]
A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 497.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.25 H18 front tire and a 3.50 H18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 260mm discs in the front and a single 260mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shock absorbers.

Also, it boasts standard fittings such as dual front disc brakes and a single rear unit, a hydraulic telescopic front fork coupled to dual shock absorbers in the rear, a dual seat, a small, square headlight, cast-aluminum wheels, a chromed, dual exhaust system, analogue instrumentation dials, a small front fender and a steel frame.
