The Ducati 85 SPORT was a Single cylinder, 4-stroke, Air-cooled Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Ducati in 1958.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 45.7mm bore x 45.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 84.6 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.50x17 front tire and a 2.50x17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm, dual shocks.

The 85 Sport was offered between ’58 and ’60 and the four stroke engine was paired with a four speed transmission. Most were offered without an optional speedo but the seller sourced a new unit to add to his bike.
