The Ducati 98T was a Single cylinder, 4-stroke, OHV, pushrod Classic motorcycle produced by Ducati in 1953. Claimed horsepower was 5.77 HP (4.3 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

A 48.3mm bore x 48.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 98.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 3-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.50-17 front tire and a 2.50-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Non-adjustable twin hydraulic shocks, swingarm. The wheelbase was 49.02 inches (1245 mm) long.

Built in 1953 to join the ranks of the Ducati 98T became an immediate success in the market, despite its modest performance capabilities. At the heart of the Ducati 98T is a 98 cc OHV single cylinder engine that’s been mated to a four-speed transmission.
