The Ducati 98 SPORT was a Single cylinder, 4-stroke, OHV, pushrod Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Ducati in 1953. Claimed horsepower was 6.84 HP (5.1 KW) @ 7300 RPM.
Engine
A 48.3mm bore x 48.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 98.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a 4-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.
Chassis
It came with a 2.50-17 front tire and a 2.75-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Marzocchi hydraulic damped telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Non-adjustable twin hydraulic shocks, swingarm. The wheelbase was 47.2 inches (1199 mm) long.
