The Ducati 996 Biposta was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin, DOHC, desmodromic 4 valves per cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Ducati in 2000. Max torque was 69.33 ft/lbs (94.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 111.98 HP (83.5 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 190/50 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 220mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear.
