The Ducati Elite was a single cylinder, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 1959 and 1965. It could reach a top speed of 87 mph (140 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 17.57 HP (13.1 KW) @ 7500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 67.0mm bore x 57.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 204.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 8.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.75-18 front tire and a 3.25-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equiped with a swinging arm suspension. The bike weighed just 260.15 pounds (118.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 51.97 inches (1320 mm) long.
