The Ducati Monster 1100 EVO Diesel Special Edition was a air-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin, SOHC, desmodromic 2 valves per cylinder Naked motorcycle produced by Ducati in 2012. Max torque was 75.97 ft/lbs (103.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 100.04 HP (74.6 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

Engine

A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1078.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a straight cut gears transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, multiplate, hydraulic control.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm disc, 4-piston radial calipers, ABS in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Marzocchi fully-adjustable upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a Sachs adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage. The wheelbase was 57.09 inches (1450 mm) long.
