Engine
A 88.9mm bore x 88.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 748.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission.
Chassis
It came with a 120/60 ZR17 front tire and a 160/60 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Showa upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage. The Monster 750ie was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank.
2002 Ducati Monster 750ie
The 2002 MY Ducati Monster 750ie, as the name suggests, has been equipped with an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system, that boosts its overall power output, as well as makes for a more fuel-efficient machine. Also, it has, at its heart, a four-stroke, air-cooled, 748cc, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic powerplant, mated to a six-speed manual transmission, that can produce a claimed 64 horsepower and 62 Nm of torque.
The features worth mentioning for this machine would be the high-spec suspension package, composed of a 43mm Showa upside-down telescopic fork in the front and an adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage in the rear, the Brembo brakes with dual front discs, a digital instrument display, the three-spoked, cast-aluminum wheels and the single seat.
