The Ducati Monster S4 was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin, DOHC, desmodromic 4 valves per cylinder Naked motorcycle produced by Ducati between 2002 and 2007. It could reach a top speed of 143 mph (230 km/h). Max torque was 67.86 ft/lbs (92.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 100.98 HP (75.3 KW) @ 8750 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin, DOHC, desmodromic 4 valves per cylinder. A 94.0mm bore x 94.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 916.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Showa fully-adjustable upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a Sachs fully-adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage. The Monster S4 was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 425.49 pounds (193.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.69 inches (1440 mm) long.
