The Ducati Panigale 1299 S was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, Superquadro L-Twin, desmodromic, 4 valves per cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Ducati in 2016. Max torque was 106.95 ft/lbs (145.0 Nm) @ 8750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 205.04 HP (152.9 KW) @ 10500 RPM.

A 116.8mm bore x 116.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1285.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a straight cut gears transmission. Power was moderated via the slipper and self-servo wet multiplate with hydraulic control.
Chassis
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 200/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 330mm discs, 4-piston Brembo Monobloc M50 calipers, cornering ABS in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper, cornering ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Ohlins NIX30 fully-adjustable upside-down fork, TiN-coated while the rear was equipped with a Ohlins TTX36 fully-adjustable monoshock with progressive/flat adjustable linkage. The wheelbase was 56.61 inches (1438 mm) long.
2016 Ducati Panigale 1299 S
Unlike the base Panigale 1299, the "S"-suffixed one has been fitted with the revolutionary Ohlins Smart EC semi-active suspension system, that is composed of a NIX-30 front fork, a TTX rear monoshock and a steering damper. This system allows the rider to manually adjust the suspension and damper settings, as well as offers a semi-active mode, that can be preset to hard or soft, and that dynamically adjusts the steering and suspension settings to offer the best possible response, no matter the road conditions.
In addition, it comes with Marchesini forged-aluminum wheels, the Bosch Inertial Platform, full LED lighting, a TFT instrument display, auxiliary handlebar buttons and carbon-fiber components. Technology-wise, it has been equipped with DQS, EBC, DWC, ABS, and DTC.
