The Ducati Sport 1000 Biposta was a air-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin, DOHC, desmodromic 4 valves per cylinder Cruiser motorcycle produced by Ducati between 2007 and 2008. Max torque was 67.12 ft/lbs (91.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 91.99 HP (68.6 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

Engine

A 94.0mm bore x 94.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 992.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a straight cut gears transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual, hydraulic control.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm fully-adjustable upside-down forks while the rear was equipped with a Sachs fully-adjustable monoshock, side-mounted. The Sport 1000 Biposta was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 56.1 inches (1425 mm) long.

The 2007 MY Ducati Sport 1000 Biposta comes with fittings such as a side-mounted Sachs fully-adjustable monoshock as a rear suspension coupled to a 43mm fully-adjustable upside-down telescopic fork, an analogue and digital instrumentation panel, low-mounted handlebars, laced wheels, a large round headlight, mid-mounted foot controls and a dual seat.

In the engine department it is powered by a four-stroke, fuel-injected, air-cooled, 992cc, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic powerplant paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can reach a maximum power output of 92 horsepower and 91 Nm of torque.
