The Ducati Superbike 1098R was a v2, four-stroke standard produced by Ducati between 2007 and 2009. Max torque was 99.13 ft/lbs (134.4 Nm) @ 7750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 176.21 HP (131.4 KW) @ 9750 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 106.0mm bore x 67.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1198.4 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.
Drive
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the dry multiplate with hydraulic control slipper clutch.
Chassis
It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 190/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear.
