A Fat Bob is the common wide style of fuel tank with two filler caps, one each side. One cap may be a fake, the style harking back to the days when gas was held in one side, oil in the other. The style is still used on Harley-Davidsons today, the left-hand (fake) cap being used to house a fuel gauge.
