The Harley-Davidson Model VD was a v2, four-stroke custom / cruiser motorcycle produced between 1930 and 1934. It could reach a top speed of 85 mph (136 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 29.37 HP (21.9 KW) @ 4000 RPM.

Engine

The engine featured a 4.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a sidevalves.

Drive

The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the dry multiplate.

Chassis

Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a leading link -coil springs while the rear was equiped with a rigid-. The Model VD was fitted with a 4.0 Gallon (15.14 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 60.0 inches (1524 mm) long.
