The Harley-Davidson XLS1000 Roadster was a v2, four-stroke classic motorcycle produced between 1979 and 1985. It could reach a top speed of 104 mph (167 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 48.95 HP (36.5 KW) @ 6000 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 81.0mm bore x 96.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 997.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 8.8:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

Drive

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.

Chassis
