The Harley-Davidson SS125 was a single cylinder, two-stroke minibike, sport motorcycle produced between 1976 and 1977. It could reach a top speed of 68 mph (110 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 12.74 HP (9.5 KW) @ 7000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 56.0mm bore x 50.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 123.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.8:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a port control.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.00-19 front tire and a 3.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The SS125 was fitted with a 2.77 Gallon (10.50 Liters) fuel tank.
