The Harley-Davidson Softail Heritage Classic was a v2, four-stroke custom / cruiser motorcycle produced between 1983 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 106 mph (170 km/h). Max torque was 109.02 ft/lbs (147.8 Nm) @ 3000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 84.22 HP (62.8 KW) @ 5020 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 102.0mm bore x 114.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1746.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 9.7:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via belt. Power was moderated via the multi-plate with diaphragm spring in oil bath.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 130/90-b16 front tire and a 150/80-b16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. abs. 4-piston in the front and a single disc. abs. 2-piston in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equiped with a twin shocks. The Softail Heritage Classic was fitted with a 4.99 Gallon (18.90 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 696.66 pounds (316.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 64.17 inches (1630 mm) long.
