The Harley-Davidson FXWG Wide Glide was a V-Twin, four-stroke custom / cruiser motorcycle produced from 1980 until 1986. It could reach a top speed of 102 mph (164 km/h). Max torque was 82.02 ft/lbs (111.2 Nm) @ 3600 RPM. Rated horsepower was 67.59 HP (50.4 KW) @ 5000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was an air cooled, V-Twin, four-stroke. A 3.496"(88.8mm) bore x 4.252"(108.0mm) stroke result in a displacement of 81.68cubic inches(1338.6 cubic centimeters). The engine featured a 8.5:1 compression ratio. Air/fuel mixture was supplied via overhead valves(ohv) from a single carburetor.

Drive

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. Primary drive was a lubricated double-roller chain. Power was moderated via a wet clutch. The final drive was via a kevler-reinforced belt.

Chassis

It came with a mh90-21 front tire and a mt90-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The FXWG Wide Glide was fitted with a 5.02 Gallon (19.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed 572.1 pounds (259.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 65.0 inches (1651 mm).
