A 77.8mm [[bore]] x 77.8mm [[stroke]] result in a [[displacement]] of just 740.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a sidevalves.

It came with a 4.00-18 front [[tire]] and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a  leading link while the rear was equipped with a pluger rigid. The XA was fitted with a 4.09 Gallon (15.50 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 57.48 inches (1460 mm) long.
