The Hercules 313 Starr was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Hercules between 1951 and 1957. It could reach a top speed of 53 mph (85 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 6.3 HP (4.7 KW) @ 4700 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 57.0mm bore x 58.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 123.0 cubic centimeters.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.75-19 front tire and a 2.75-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equipped with a rigid. The 313 Starr was fitted with a 2.91 Gallon (11.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 198.42 pounds (90.0 Kg).
