There is another model which I owned from 1963 sold in the UK called a Honda C110D This machine had the exhaust in the normal parallel to road position, and a 4 speed box (the hand book stated 3 speed which was incorrect) The machine was all red, it did have a strap for the passenger to hold onto(!!!!)In the time I had it (2 years 1963 October and then 6 months old) I never saw another machine. In fact the gear selector drum broke in half and we could not get another. It was told to us that as there was a problem with the drum we would have to wait! I did not, I put a big bolt through the drum and never had any more trouble, apart from the big end failure. For information the vehicle registration number was 149 KX.
