Honda CB1000R Glemseck
For the 2018 Glemseck
101, which is held in Leonberg, Germany, a three-day festival,
Honda Racing UK has created this one-off custom CB1000R.
The Glemseck 101 event is ⅛-mile sprint races, and a gathering of like-minded two-wheeled enthusiasts, all who pay homage to the old Glemseck 101 races from the 1960s.
The Honda CB1000R Glemseck will be raced by five-time 500cc GP World Champion Mick Doohan, at this 13th Sprint International drag race.
Modifications done to the CB1000R are: - Öhlins fork and rear shock from a CBR1000RR SP - Brembo brakes - Akrapovic full exhaust system including the four gold colored pipes flowing from the engine - A custom made extended swingarm for a longer wheelbase - A custom made clutch is also bespoke, just for the Glemseck CB
The Honda CB1000R Glemseck is painted in the traditional Honda colors, retro red, white, and blue with gold accents.
