This article is about the Honda CB500K "Four" 4-Cylinder model. For the CB500 Twin cylinder model, see Honda CB500T

The Honda CB500K "Four", introduced in 1971, was similarly styled to the CB750K, but smaller and lighter, with an output of 50 hp and a manufacturer's specified top speed of 102 mph. It was produced until 1973 with minor revisions each year. In 1974 it was replaced by the CB550K.

The Honda 500 Four designated CB500K0 (also called "Super Sport 500") was sold in 1971. Three colors were available: Candy Jet Green, Candy Garnet Brown, and Star Light Gold.
