The 2006 MY Honda CBF 1000 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 998cc, transverse four cylinder powerplant, that was mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can reach a maximum power output of 102 horsepower and 97 Nm of torque.
