The Honda CBR 250R Repsol was a Single cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooled Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Honda in 2013. Claimed horsepower was 35.0 HP (26.1 KW) @ 10500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder.. The engine featured a 10.7: 1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Wet multiplate hydraulic clutch.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/70-MC17 front tire and a 140/70-MC17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 296mm disc 2 piston caliper in the front and a Single 220mm disc 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 37mm telescopic fork, while the rear was equipped with a Pro-Link Monoshock damper,. The CBR250R Repsol was fitted with a 13 Liters / 3.4 gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1370 mm / 53.9 in long.

Overview[edit | edit source]

The 2013 Honda CBR250R changes are all cosmetic including a new black exhaust cover and black wheels on any of the available color schemes, ranging from pearl white/blue/red/ red and black as well as a new Repsol treatment.

Anti-lock brakes are an option on all 2013 Honda CBR250R models except for the Repsol edition. The 249.4cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine makes the 250R a sporty yet manageable machine for new riders. The front end features a 37mm fork with 4.65 inches of travel and a single 296mm disc brake with twin piston calipers. The rear suspension features a Pro-Link single shock with five-position spring preload adjustability and 4.07 inches of travel, the rear brake a single-caliper gripping a 220mm disc. The 3.4-gallon fuel tank averaged 64.7 mpg


Dressed to resemble Casey Stoner‘s Dani Pedrosa‘s and Marc Marquez Honda RC213V MotoGP race bikes, the 2013 Repsol edition Honda CBR250R sports the Spanish petroleum company’s orange with red and white colors, the Honda Racing Corporation logo and the “One Heart” motto of Honda’s Indonesian joint venture which also sponsors the MotoGP team.
