The Honda CBR 500R was a Four stroke, parallel-twin Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Honda in 2013. Max torque was 31.72 ft/lbs (43.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 48.01 HP (35.8 KW) @ 8500 RPM.


Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, parallel-twin, DOHC; 4 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 10.7:1 compression ratio.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 160/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 320mm wave disc 2 piston calipers in the front and a Single 240mm wave disc 1 piston calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Pro-Link single shock with nine-position spring preload adjustability;. The CBR500R was fitted with a 15.5 Liters / 4.1 gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1400 mm / 55.5 in long.
