Honda Hurricane F1

The Honda CBR 600 F, known as 'Hurricane', is a sports motorcycle made from 1987-1990.

1987

1987 Honda CBR600F Hurricane


The CBR600F'87 Hurricane 600 was sold in 1987 in one of two color schemes: Pearl Crystal White with Fighting Red or Black with Monza Red. The "HURRICANE" logo on the white bike was white while it was black on the black bike. The wheels were red. The exhaust system was 4-into-1. The engine was a 598cc DOHC 16-valve liquid-cooled inline four linked to a 6-speed transmission. The serial number began JH2PC190*HM000001.

1988

1988 Honda CBR600F Hurricane


The CBR600F'88 Hurricane 600 was sold in 1988 in one of two color schemes: Fighting Red with Pearl Crystal White or Medium Gray Metallic with Granite Blue Metallic. The "HURRICANE" logo on both colors was red. The wheels were also red. The exhaust system was 4-into-1. The serial number began JH2PC190*JM100001

1989 Honda CBR600


The CBR600F'89 was sold in 1989, but no longer with the Hurricane name. It came in one of two color schemes: Pearl Crystal White with Winter Lake Blue Metallic or Pearl Crystal White with Terra Blue and Fighting Red. The "CBR" logo was on the gas tank. The serial number began JH2PC190*KM200001

1990 Honda CBR600


The CBR600F'90 was sold in 1990 in one of two color schemes: Pearl Crystal White with Blitz Gray Metallic or Black with Monza Red. The engine was improved to give 10 hp increase over the previous year. The white and gray unit had a wing and the word "HONDA" on the gas tank; but on the black and red unit the tank had a silver "CBR" logo. The serial number began JH2PC230*LM000004

The CBR600F2'91 Super Sport was sold in 1991 in two color schemes: Ross White with Fighting Red or Black with Real Blue, Light Blue, and Pink. The bike had "60" series radial tires. The bike rated 100 hp (up from 7 hp from 1990). The engine and chassis had a new design. The engine was a 599cc DOHC 16 valve liquid-cooled inline four cylinder linked to a 6-speed transmission.
