The Honda CD 185 was a Three-cylinde, four-stroke Classic motorcycle produced by Honda in 1979. Claimed horsepower was 83.01 HP (61.9 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 53.3mm bore x 41mm stroke result in a displacement of just 180.0 cubic centimeters.Sharing the same stroke as the CB125T range

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-Speed manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-Plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.00-17 front tire and a 3.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double disc in the front and a Single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swinging arm.

1979 Honda CD 185[edit | edit source]

In 1979 the Honda CD 175 was replaced by the CD 185 which, because its engine was merely 1mm bigger in the bores, while retaining the 175's 41mm stroke, was not a 185 at all but a 180.
