1974 Honda MT125K0 Elsinore



The MT125K0 Elsinore was sold in 1974 in one color combination: custom Silver Metallic and Blue. The gas tank was silver with a blue stripe on top. The fenders were silver painted plastic. The side cover was metallic silver. The exhaust system heat shield was chrome. The engine was a 2-stroke single cylinder with oil injection displacing 123cc linked to a 5-speed transmission. The serial number began MT125-1000001.

1977 Honda MT125R



The MT125R'77 was sold in 1977, but no longer with the Elsinore name. It came with Primer White so that the purchaser could paint it the color he liked. The bike was dressed with a fiberglass fairing, tank, fender, and seat cowl. It also had a mechanical front disc brake with leading caliper. The bike was manufactured by Honda Racing Service Center (RSC) and designed for closed-course, competition use roadracing. The engine was a 2-stroke air-cooled single cylinder displacing 123cc and linked to a 6-speed transmission. The horsepower was 26. The serial number began MT125R2F-1081.


1978

1978 Honda MT125R



The MT125R'78 was sold in 1978. It came with Primer White so that the purchaser could paint it the color he liked. The bike was dressed with a fiberglass fairing, tank, fender, and seat cowl. The bike was manufactured by Honda Racing Service Center (RSC) and designed for closed-course, competition use roadracing. It had a hydraulic front disc brake with trailing caliper. The expansion chamber was redesigned. The horsepower increased from 26 to 28. The engine was a 2-stroke air-cooled single cylinder displacing 123cc and linked to a 6-speed transmission.
