Reviews ·

The Honda NSR50R was a small, 49cc, two-stroke pocket rocket like sportbike produced by Honda in 2004.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled 49cc two-stroke. A 39.0mm bore x 41.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 100/90-j12 front tire and a 120/80-j12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a swingarm with twin shocks. The NSR50R was fitted with a 1.95 Gallon (7.38 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 42.72 inches (1085 mm) long.

2004 Honda NSR 50R

A bike also used for race track use only, just like the retro Dream 50R, the 2003 NSR 50R is helping Honda sort through the young knee-dragging talents. Small and unintimidating, this bike is the perfect way to start a road racing career.

And with its HRC-inspired looks which can be furthermore personalized, it's small wonder that kids will be willing to spend as much time aboard it as possible. Add in the full-fledged manual 6-speed transmission and punchy engine and get ready to see a new motorcycling star being born.
