The VF1100C'86 V65 Magna was sold in 198 in one of two colors: Black and Candy Glory Red. The California model had the designation VF1100CL'86.  The headlight shell, instruments, and front fender were chrome. The control levers had screw-type adjusters. The turnsignal switch was a push-to-cancel type. The speedometer numbers were in increments of 10 ending with "5 (e.g., 35, 45, 55, 65, etc.). The fiber optics integrated lock anti-theft system was deleted. The engine side cases were polished. The side stand was chrome plated. The front and rear brake discs had inner cut-outs. The engine was a 1098cc [[DOHC]] 4-valve liquid-cooled V-4 linked to a 6-speed transmission and shaft drive. The serial number began JH2SC120*DM000001.
