The engine was a liquid cooled v4, four-stroke. A 77.0mm bore x 53.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

ChassisEdit
It came with a 100/90-18 front tire and a 140/80-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The VFR1000F 2 was fitted with a 6.08 Gallon (23.00 Liters) fuel tank.
